More cop/partying dreams...

More cop/partying dreams...

It's so wierd to have another 'cop busting my party' dream so soon - considering I just had one last week. But anyway, there was me and some unidentified girl in the dream that was my friend, I guess. It's so crazy that your mind can create this new person in your dream and you can remember exactly how they looked, but it's someone you've never seen. It really blows my mind. Anyway, she was about my size and had long brown hair. She lived in a trailer park - a green and white trailer actually. We were going to join a group of other people to party. Just as we were stepping out onto the porch/balcony to leave, we saw guys running out of two houses next door (the houses we were going to party at!) with cops running after them and clubbing them down Rodney-King-style. I remember there were also shots fired. My friend and I just looked at each other and turned right around and went back inside as if to silenty say, "OK - change of plans - let's not go over there and party". Well, a couple of our friends from next store snuck away from the cops. They came over through the window of the house we were in with a bag of reefer. I could swear the one guy was Bret Michaels of Poison, which is totally fucked up - I mean I just had a dream with CC Deville in it a couple of nights ago and it's not like I think about Poison all that often (at least not since I was 12). So fucked up how the mind works. ANYWAY, we proceeded to smoke this gigantic bud out of some wierd plastic bottle. The other guy with "Bret" was an old stoner I used to go to high school with (and actually my ex-boyfriend my 6th grade, Mark). It was such a wierd dream. But aren't they all? My mind is always blown away when I wake up with a lucid dream in my head. It's amazing to me that your mind can be at its absolute peak of creativity when you're asleep. That's why I started keeping this blog to record my dreams. So many interesting dreams have been so lucid upon waking up and then within a few days they're completely slipped through my fingers.

Comment I'm glad you are keeping track of your dreams and making them available to readers. I have always been fascinated with dreams and have written many of mine down over the years but not on a blog. Really cool stuff. The human subconscious sure is a weird place! Thanks for being willing to put your dreams out there for us to read. Makes me wish my dreams were interesting enough these days to document and post somewhere.
